Frequently Asked Questions About Working with Us
What is a Free Technology Assessment?
A Free Technology Assessment is a conversation about your current services, expenses, and business needs. We review opportunities to improve service, reduce unnecessary expenses, or plan for upcoming changes.
Does the assessment cost anything or require a contract?
Our technology assessment is offered at no cost and does not require you to sign a service contract. If you choose a new service, we help you review the provider’s pricing and terms before you decide.
Can you review my current phone and internet bills?
Yes. We can review your bills for outdated services, unused features, billing concerns, and opportunities to compare pricing. You can upload a bill through our website to get started.
Do I have to switch providers?
No. A review may show that your current services still fit your needs. We explain your options so you can decide whether to keep, adjust, or replace a service.
How do you help choose a technology provider?
We compare options based on your locations, budget, required features, and support needs. Our vendor portfolio includes more than 400 technology providers, although availability and suitability vary by service.
Can you help with business phones and customer communications?
Yes. We help businesses compare phone systems, business texting, mobile apps, and contact center platforms. We also review integrations and AI features when they are relevant to your team.
Can you help with internet reliability and backup connections?
Yes. We review business internet options, backup connections, and networking services based on your locations and operational needs. A backup connection can help reduce disruption if your primary service goes down.
Do you provide support after a service is selected?
We help coordinate implementation and remain a point of contact for ongoing vendor support. The provider delivers the contracted service, while we help you navigate questions and escalations.
How does USA Communications get paid if your consulting is free?
USA Communications provides most technology assessments, provider comparisons, implementation coordination, and ongoing vendor support at no cost to the client. When you choose and install an eligible service through one of our provider partners, the provider pays USA Communications a commission, similar to how a provider compensates its own direct sales team. This means you can receive independent help comparing options without adding a separate consulting fee for those services. Any wiring, onsite work, custom development, or other separately scoped services are quoted upfront.
Why work with USA Communications instead of going directly to a provider?
A direct sales representative works for one provider and can only offer that company’s products and services. USA Communications can compare options from more than 400 technology providers based on your locations, budget, features, and support needs. You can also use different providers for different services while keeping USA Communications as one point of contact to help coordinate implementation, support issues, escalations, and contract renewals. Our relationship does not end once the service is installed.
